They are going to cry to start with, its normal, they will calm down as they get used to the new environment and learning that you will come back again. It will take them at least a month to settle into the new routine, so be prepared for some behaviour changes for a while.

Yes what Hattie said! Drop offs are hard at start...and then my LB would be a bit out of sorts at pick up...like overwhelmed to see me. But now a few weeks in - is so much better! He also seems to be a way better eater for them than for me!! What they say about bugs is true too. Expect some! Some sniffles for wee ones...leads to colds for us and man flu for daddy ;)

…Or they could be extremely happy at drops and not give two sh*** like my little girl 😂 Spare clothes! Lots of… I usually buy some really good second hand items from vinted, rather than sending her in her good stuff just for it to get ruined. Naps… expect a little bit of distribution to normal sleep pattern to begin with but it soon settles down. Nursery bugs- they are brutal 😵‍💫 lots of sniffles etc but it gets better! My LG loves nursery and eats so well there! Wish I could say the same for home 🫠 hehe. Hope your LO gets on okay!

Get your immune system ready! We had about 6 weeks of non stop colds and a dreaded sick bug. Be prepared for bedtime routine to change for a bit! We found bubs was getting really tired earlier so had to jiggle to an earlier bedtime. And someday she'd be over tired so late nights happened.

Thank you all
