Mats for play

Does anyone have any suggestions or recommendations for mat's for little ones who are just starting to sit/fall and roll? My little one just figured out rolling on our bed. We have hardwood floors though with just a thin playmat so when he went to do it in our living room he bumped his head. He's fine just got a bit of a shock but it's upped the urgency of getting something a bit more cushioned under him so he can be more free to play independently. Thanks guys! ☺️

I bought a foam one from smyths which is good as it folds up aswell

@Ceri we got this too, great so far

We're getting this one for baby's bedroom. Her room is the only room (bar kitchen and dining room) without carpet and we're getting her a floor bed so this will take up the rest of the space in her room except a small area by the door. @Emm where did you get this from please?

@Alyssa McMahon This was just Amazon, think it’s similar to the mellow mat that you see advertised

Ours was from Munchkin and Bear but looks like they no longer trade in the UK. Totter & Tumble are a similar brand I imagine. Ours is nice and thick, easy to clean and covers the rug and wooden floor so v nice. Not had much use in the last few years but now finding renewed use downstairs.

Vinted have a few! I got one from there really cheap :)

Totter & Tumble mats are great - we have a large one in the lounge and one in her room. They arnt cheap but very good quality and look nice too 😊

I got the nuby foldable one from Amazon - nice and big so plenty of space for my child to spread out all her toys 😅

@Lisa we also have this and love it - although height chart is not actually correct! 🤦‍♀️ Foldimat also good for more expensive
