Sept x

I think it's from September as its from the next school term after they turn 9 months old which would be the Autumn term in 2025

I think we effectively skip the 15 hours and go straight to the 30 hours as that will be the term after they are one.

@Kerry I thought they don’t get 30 until they are 3 years old?

@Mish it changed as part of a long term plan from March 23. This has been confirmed by my childminder I have arranged x

Following as I’m interested in this as well. Does anyone know when we can start making applications?

@Kerry brilliant, thank you I didn’t know this x

@Mish first thing I looked into when I found out I was pregnant x

@Kerry is this in just England or wales as well?

@Kerry amazing thank you!

Who’s entitled to this? Just parents working over 16 hours?

@Amy I'm not sure.

I would recommend getting them booked in soon, as one of the issues with this scheme is that childcare providers can't cope with the demand. My daughter has been booked in since our 12 week scan. We haven't even been to look around it yet, but comes highly recommended. Also this scheme does not apply during school holidays so you still have to pay I'm full if you want to keep their place. Hope this helps x
