Any advice

My 11 year old daughter doesn't take pride in herself. I have to be on her case about even having a shower! She did not want me to do her hair this weekend and would rather go to school with her cornrows a complete mess. I just don't know what to do.

I think it's her age. Mine was similar. She's now 12 and coming out of this stage. I hope yours does the same. It's a funny age for girls. Not young girl but not quite a young lady yet. x

My girls the same , completely happy to think she can go out of house without brushing her hair or even brushing her teeth or washing sometimes it's infuriating....shes also sweating a lot now so deodorant has to be fit in her very busy morning schedule of sitting on her backside ....but ye hoping its just temporary ..

My nearly 11 year old girl is the same. She complains if she doesn’t look the way she wants but also begrudges actually washing or even running a brush through her hair 😅
