How long did it take you to conceive again following miscarriage?

Just out of interest and to be honest, reassurance! I’ve heard you have a good chance of conceiving within 6 months post miscarriage/less likely to miscarry again within this time too. Thanks in advance!

So sorry about your miscarriage 💔 I had one in early June and got pregnant again after my first period (tested positive 31st July). I'm 12 weeks today and have my scan tomorrow 🤞 xx

So sorry to hear about your miscarriage - it is awful isn’t it. That’s great - I am so pleased for you. Also v reassuring for me! 😊

Keeping my fingers crossed for you xxx

It’s true, you are definitely more fertile post miscarriage and in the early post partum period. We conceived in July and had a chemical and conceived again in August and had another chemical; I know it’s not exactly a positive story, but you can conceive relatively quickly in most cases.

@Alana that must be so difficult. I hope there will be some good news coming up for you both xxxx

TW - I had a positive test, 3 weeks after the first day of my miscarriage. (I counted the first day of miscarriage as the first day of my period to try to calculate ovulation and it worked for me, however I think this depends how far along you were etc.) I was 6 weeks at MC.

@Rebecca yes I have done the same but waited for my next period. I was nearly 12 weeks but baby died at 9 weeks but MC ended up happening naturally which I’m hoping helps not mess with my cycle too much. Not sure if that’s really logical/evidenced thinking though.

Thank you and you too!
