Is it reflux?
My little one is going through it at the moment. He has really bad gas and cries quite a bit as he’s trying to pass it for which he also goes bright red in the face and draws up his legs of which I’m doing things to help.
However during the night he also draws up his legs, writhes around, grunts and sounds really congested which often ends up waking him up. He also seems to go a bit red and squirms towards the end of a feed. I just don’t know whether this is also due to gas or whether he has reflux as well as I know it can make babies congested. He also just doesn’t seem to settle as well when he’s flat on his back and it gets worse as the night goes on. But then I also know his noise and movement can also be infant dyschezia. It’s so confusing!

Could be worth a doctors visit. My little boy was exactly how you describe, and at 3 months, we were told he has a cow's milk protein allergy. My little boy had extremely bad gas, especially at night. He was very tearfully after every bottle (he wasn't as bad when we used the pre made bottles of milk). His nappies were constantly loose, and he was always congested. X
Sounds more Gas related to me. Maybe even constipation??? But doesn't seem typical of reflux to me. I hope you get some answers and babe gets some relief 💕
