Vaccines

So my baby is due for his 12 month vaccines tomorrow & my boyfriend is against it bc he believes certain vaccines causes autism. He gets most of his information off social media & I tell him to do real research with actual studies on this information before coming to the conclusion based on a video that someone did. I’m not easily moved by things that are posted on social media like my bf is. If you know any studies on the information can you link it or confirm that whatever video he watched is bs. I haven’t been able to find anything but maybe I’m looking in the wrong places lol.

@Emma thank you so much! I appreciate it! That’s the vaccine he was concerned about too. Idk where I was looking. I don’t even think to look on google scholar

Autism is genetic, does not come from vaccines. Though most of these diseases are eradicated in the us many are making a comeback and coming from an autism mom id much rather do it all over again if it meant I did what I could to make sure my child didn’t get something that could potentially cause harm. Thank you for trying to correct the misinformation he’s been told 🫶🏻

@Precious you’re welcome! Measles, mumps and rubella can be deadly or they leave you with lifelong disabilities as a result. Even if the vax caused autism (which it doesn’t) I certainly know what I’d prefer for my child. You’re doing an excellent job Mumma xx

Autism is genetic but let me forewarn you about the mmr vaccine… my son is 10 days post vaccinations, MMR was one of them & he’s very ill. They said it could possibly cause a rash 7-10 days after. He was absolutely fine until a few days ago , he has a rash that started 2 days ago head to toe itching , fever, running nose and out of no where a ton of pain.. come to find out the live vaccine gave him measles. Now this doesn’t happen to every child, my other children never reacted like this but It is POSSIBLE.

@Cassidie I agree with you.

You should dump him. He’ll only be more of a dumb ass

Did the baby get his shots that were due when he was an infant ? Also is your boyfriend the baby’s father ?

@Emma yes! That’s why I want to make sure my baby is fully vaccinated. I don’t want him to get anything deadly that could be prevented. He was fully vaccinated as a child, so were his siblings so idk why he feels like these vaccines are the cause of a neurological condition. I glad he’s a concerned parent but not getting certain vaccines could take our son’s life & he’d feel some kind of way if it did. God forbid.

@Mckayla yeah I might postpone that vaccine. I don’t want him getting no more than 3 vaccines in a day. My baby just got over the flu & I don’t want a bad reaction from a vaccine that’ll stress me out lol.

I disagree that autism is always genetic. Autism is a form of brain swelling or damage that can be caused by vaccines. There are metals in vaccines such as mercury that can cause this form of damage.. as well as that but vaccines are a "one size fits all" product when it really shouldn't be. I don't believe this based of social media and MOST of social media promotes vaccines and shames those who don't and say we're undereducated or mislead just for not believing what the majority do. Please check out www.childrenshealthdefense.org it's an amazing website that can give you more knowledge on this topic or if you (or anyone reading this) want to discuss this further feel free to message me :) I'm not prideful and I'm willing to see both ends of the conversation IF it's an actual conversation and not a degrading argument. 🫶

Autism is not cause by mmr vaccine or any other vaccine. The Dr that did that study (which was proven false) was paid to come up with that result and has lost their license

Have a look at a profile on Instagram called ‘iamelliegrey’ she speaks ALOT about child vaccines/vaccines in general. Posts a lot of studies and after reading them I’d personally never vaccinate my child.

Well my younger brother was not vaccinated because my dad has autism and I do too (the oldest) and he did get very sick at 6 in the first grade and it was very scary for my family, but he still has autism, his is very different from mine but just wanted to add that!

@briana yes & yes
