Mine has been struggling with constipation since she was born. If she goes more than 2-3 days without a Bm I go ahead and give her mirlax. We see a gastrologist and have been given little probiotic packs to help. She has only had diarrhea twice in her life and she’s about to be 2 here soon.

@Leslie Ibarra did the Gastrologist do any additional tests? Like an abdominal ultrasound?

My little one poops usually every day. I think it's about the food they are eating My little one is mostly vegetarian. We do yogurt with added ground chia & flax seeds, (really helpful) , fresh fruit, veggies and lots of beans.. I would try changing diet and see if that gives improvement.

My girl used to get constipated a lot when she was little. Now that I can give her more things to eat, she rarely does. She eats oatmeal every other day, yogurt and fruit every day and plenty of water and natural fruit juice. Prune juice if I feel like her poops are harder. This combo seems to keep her regular.

Yes. And poop samples!! And blood test. And different things like that

@Susi haha I wish it was! In our case it’s the mental blockage from popping! I just graduated with a Masters degree from Nutrition so I fully agree with her! She has a diet packed with fiber!❤️ Her favorite food is salmon and broccoli and she never has sugar. Still it’s the sensation she doesn’t like so she’s stopping herself. Our pediatrician said that it means she super smart as she has learned to control it early on but on the other hand very problematic 😅
