I stay home and my husband works. As the kid(s) get older there is talk of both of us working

I want to either work remotely or part-time. I still have like 2 years before I really need to decide and figure it out. I am super nervous about making the "wrong" choice.

Our son is in kindergarten and this is our first year of homeschooling, so we’re still figuring it all out. I’m a full time 100% remote worker and my husband is a stay at home parent. I work 4 10s and have one weekday off that I use as a mama and kiddo adventure day. We live in a city with a lot of cool opportunities for homeschoolers, which helps a lot. Also, both sets of grandparents are local and involved, so we have a lot more support than most people.

I work remotely full time and help my son as needed when he is doing his school work.

We have been homeschooling for 11 years so I have done a little bit of everything. But for the majority of those years I have been a SAHM because it’s just better for all of us. We are a family of 7 and schedules are crazy.

Currently I work part-time. But we’ve been homeschooling for about 10yrs I’ve never Not worked in that time (except for maternity leave) period but my schedule has changed many times I’ve worked full time,PRN, part-time nights, days, weekends etc… the entire time I’ve worked in healthcare. So I’ve never worked remote.

Nope. Work Monday through Friday, 29 hours/week.

I work full-time and my husband stays home for now.

I'm currently a stay at home mom. We'll be moving within the next 3-6 months & once we're settled I'll be adding raising our own meat & gardening to my list of responsibilities. Not technically a traditional job but we do plan to try to sell some of what we produce.

My daughter is still little but I grew up homeschooled. Vast majority of the time my mom was SAH, but once my younger siblings were in high school she started working part time, and a lot of the work was related to their homeschooling activities (co-op, theater, etc)

@Jazz🌺 wow. Thats cool And how does your scheduling work when it comes to homeschooling?

SAHM of 6 and homeschool. It's tight money wise, but we make it work. It's worth it! 💕

@J how do you juggle both homeschooling and work?

@Incognito currently I work 3days/week. I work for a nurses agency so I have a lot of flexibility I make my own schedule and I tailor it around our school schedule and events/activities. I’m also married my husband works full time days M-F so we often tag team our 3kids while he’s at work I’m with them and then we switch off so basically I have nights and weekends to work.
