Boy or girl?

Has anyone had an umbilical cord mistaken for a wiener, we had a gender ultrasound @13-14. Weeks and they said boy but the more I compare it to my first sons I’m wondering if it might be the umbilical cord, I’ll post my first sons ultrasound in comments

Your original photo definitely looks different than your first son’s ultrasound! I’d also be concerned that it was just the umbilical cord. Are you having your anatomy scan soon? They’ll be able to confirm at that scan!

I have never had this happen to me, but I remember I went to get my scan (I was seeing a private ultrasound and paying out of pocket for my anxiety due to previous losses) and the couple before me, were told they having one gender by their doctor, had their baby shower, gender reveal even had like the ultrasound picture of gender, and when they went to this girl for a new scan, they found out it was the other gender and were completely devastated. Not sure if it was something like an umbilical cord was in the way, all I know is they had to pick up the ultrasound from the doctor with gender because they forgot it. So I’m wondering if they got someone else’s ultrasound or if it was in fact something in the way 😅

Although it's possible at 12 weeks and beyond d it's easier to see a babies gender from 16 weeks. When I went for a private scan they looked for the pelic bone alongside the usual is there anything visible that looks like a penis.

Updated! It’s a girl! Had are anatomy scan Friday and my primary doesn’t understand how the private ultrasound tech thought it was a boy when you can visibly see 3 lines on the new ultrasound
