Progesterone Issues :/
Currently 10 weeks 2 days. I did 2 egg retrievals and 3 failed embryo transfers, did a monitored natural cycle while waiting for insurance to process my final IVF cycle and got pregnant. W/ prometrium( progesterone pills) I’ve made it this far. I’m terrified to stop in two weeks and the placenta not take over. Anyone have success stories???

Currently 10 weeks and 4 days. Stopped PIO shots at exactly 10 weeks and will stop Progesterone suppositories at 11 weeks. That's what my doctor told me to do. I'm terrified too but I'll just have to believe they know what they are doing!
@Stephanie did you have any side effects or spotting when weening off? I didn’t do IVF this cycle just happened to try one cycle in between. I’m son nervous, they have me going from my 4 prometrium to 2 today and then next Friday to one a day. Stopping the next Friday.

I didn’t do IVF but I was on prometrium until around 12 weeks. I was nervous as hell but I decided to wean myself slowly even though the doctor said I could safely stop cold turkey (I wasn’t on a super high dose). So I started to do every other night around 12 w6 d and then eventually stopped by 14 weeks and my baby is now 9 months old!
