Bubbling at the mouth

Hi all, My baby is currently 6weeks old and he's constantly having excess saliva that he's literally bubbling at the mouth. Is anyone else experiencing this with their LO?

Mine is 7 weeks and has been doing this a bit lately and drooling a lot more but we’ve had to give her infacol so I assumed it was that causing it but not sure as it’s not supposed to have any side effects

It’s acid reflux xxx

My little boy is 8 weeks old and is always creating bubbles at the mouth. He’s been doing it for the past few weeks, we’ve been told it’s to do with his speech development for when he’s trying to speak. He’s ‘goo’ing and ‘coo’ing at everything so it made sense to us x

@Gee🧸 can I ask who told you that? Just curious as I work in speech and language with lots of experience and studying an MMed in it and it’s not something I’ve come across/heard of so would be interested to look into it

@Kate I asked the doctor when I went in for engorgement issues. I was very curious as it was something that had just started but she said it was completely normal and it’s to do with their communication skills apparently? Since when we initially noticed he’s a complete babble box and he’s always goo’ing and coo’ing so I thought it seemed accurate😅xx

@Gee🧸 hmm that’s interesting. I’m going to look into it 😅

Hello, my baby does this too. It’s reflux xx
