Hey my baby was very colicky we’re 5months now so much better but colief in his bottles and tummy massages helped us a fair bit 🫶

@Zainab we’ve just started to use colief, but found his poops and bowels are so loose and watery.. we think it might be making it worse so have reduced the drops.. did your little one go through this? We’ve only been on it for a week or so. Gripe water has helped for immediate burps. Other than that, it’s white noise, rocking/dancing to music in the living room. Cuddles. Using the dummy and baby massages. We’re 10 weeks and still in the trenches 🫠😭 so hard!

@Zainab thank you so much I will give that a go where do you get coleif from ?x

@Katie I honestly really feel for you it is really hard sometimes I cry because I feel like nothing I do is good enough and feel bad when I feel like I need a break because I feel so overwhelmed, you’ve got this always here for a chat ❤️

@Abbey thanks abbey. 🥰 It is so hard.. to do it everyday too, and nothing you can do will help. I just hope by 3-4 months his stomach will have matured enough. Always here too if you also want to chat 💛💛

We used a comfort formula - colic and constipation! Made a huge difference! X

@Katie I agree his stools were more frequent and loose so I used 2 drops in just 2 bottles the one before bed and one in the afternoon. I promise you it will get better I know it’s easier to say but you will have a much happier baby and a much happier you too! Feel free to drop me a message if you do need to chat xx

@Abbey it’s really easily available from boots or Tesco/asda all pharmacies :) co lactase is available from boots too and can be used straight away with colief you have to wait for it to work for 20mins before feeding xx

@Zainab thanks so much. Directions say to use it with every feed.. so I’ve been doing that.. 🤦🏻‍♀️ will definitely try your way and hopefully it will help his stools and his tummy! Did you also use gripe water or any probiotics too? When did you start to see a difference? It’s so hard to see the light at the end of the tunnel! Thank you, that’s so kind xx

@Imogen thank Imogen but he has a cows milk protein allergy I would of loved to use that but been instructed to use nutrimagen x

@Katie yes give it a go I hope it works for you. I used Infacol for burps he didn’t like gripe water and kept throwing up so I stopped. In all honesty he was a much happier baby between 3/4months he’s still very windy but not intense and we get on much better. You’ve got this mama 🫶

@Zainab thank you so much xx

@Abbey Which Nutramigen are you using? We have been prescribed PurAmino and on day 3 but not finding it any good, with baby increasingly in pain and reflux raging. I’m so disappointed as really thought it was going to be so hypoallergenic it would def be ok :(

Hey Hollie I’ve been using nutrimagen L1 which has been better than what we’ve used in the past but I still think personally it’s not so good, I honestly feel for uoj because it’s hard trying to see what the problem is, ask for nutrimagen because it’s got to be better than what you are on now, it is so hard isn’t it mentally seeing them like that and being tired please message for a chat because I completely understand and you are not alone in this x

My daughter has been getting gradually better and still have some really “screamy days” but I’ve noticed a difference since I started her on probiotic drops (biogaia). It’s mentally exhausting. Hang in there ❤️
