Don't worry about it. Weaning is known to alter their guts and slow it down. Just keep feeding them, a little less solids will help too.
More milk less solids was the only thing that worked for us. We found when he was constipated like this he was eating too much solids too quickly and not having enough milk. Breastmilk is a natural laxative x
Watermelon! Works a wonder for my LO.
Kiwi. But also totally normal, I think we were between 7-10 days at one point when we first gave ours solids
Lots of boobs and coconut oil in food or even just a little chunk/spoonful helped us during this stage.
Obv this is for ppl where food and other steps haven’t worked, and your baby just needs it to stop at this point. Anyone can call their own doc to check anything out.
Once their system gets used to solids they’ll have regular and predictable poops again. Found it took 12-24 hours to see the solids come out the other end most times. My girl who normally would poop 3 times a day had essentially nothing for almost 3 days (just skid marks) and then a MASSIVE poop. Keep doing the prunes and a small amount (0.5-1oz) of water a day until you get a poop from them. If you reach 5-7 days then go in to be seen. Call your doctor to let them know of the situation and have them see you soon
Honestly it’s very normal!!! You’re doing everything right mama! :)
balance fiber and starches! (For example if you fed your baby bananas for breakfast make sure to follow up with applesauce at lunch
Okay guys, update!!!!! HE POOPED!!! yay. Thank you all for your support 🥺🥺🥺
Mine has reached till 11 days without having a poop being EBF as well and after starting solids. I've brought him to a couple of different pediatricians and they've all said it's normal being BF baby. It's happened a couple of times already and each time I've solutioned the problem with oats.
