Gassy baby!!

New mom here… I’m so confused. I bought Gripe water for my 2 week old cause he’s dealing with gas and super super fussy. But I’m scared to give it to him cause I’ve heard some people have dealt with choking, turning blue and not breathing after giving it. I’ve also heard great things too. Idk what to do, if I should even give it to him or if there’s some else that’s safer and less risks. Plz help!

How are you feeding your baby? I would read up how to offer it and follow those instructions. I’d also make an appointment to have baby seen to assess if baby is showing signs of reflux or colic etc.

I gave it to my LG when she was dealing with silent reflux at 3 months and had no issues like that at all, choking etc sounds more like a allergic reaction rather than the Gripe Water itself just causing that?

I'm giving mylicon for my 2 weeks old.. works well 😊

Fridababy sells a pacifier that you can plug a syringe intoo so they can just suck it like they do a pacifier and it will give them medicine

Girl gassy baby get the Frida gas passers, put some Vaseline on the end of it and put it in I’m telling you it’s a miracle worker I wouldn’t have survived with my first baby without it and definitely not this second time around with my second baby who has a milk allergy which makes him super gassy. I promise it doesn’t hurt them only helps
