Movement strength decrease

Looking for abit of reassurance . 28+4 weeks , I went in to be monitored on Thursday as babys movements are no where near the strength they were! Criteria was met and I actually got some powerful movements while on the monitor , they were happy but have booked me in for a scan on Monday for some extra reassurance. I had a scan nearly 3 weeks ago for reduced movements and again all came back fine , femur length was nearly 2 weeks behind but they didn't seem concerned... I guess my point to this post is has anyone else experienced this? Where the kicks and moments aren't as strong as they were and everything was okay ? I Want to see my bump move and be taken back by the kicks again so I know everything is okay 😩

Whenever I see a post like this I always say my experience because my movements decreased as my pregnancy went on, I was told that it’s not normal and to keep going back every time. There were concerns around my placenta in the end he came out fine and everything was okay but the point is movements don’t decrease or get less and I can’t tell you how many times I was told this. I had a very active baby and which became quiet as time went on, I don’t think he was happy in there to be honest. Even if Thursday is ok and Friday you aren’t happy again, go back.

I was told many times by L&D to come in with any concerns. It’s better to be safe than sorry. ❤️ In the meantime you can try drinking ice cold water or orange juice—those always helped me get my baby to move.

I think it's quite normal when baby gets bigger and has less space that the movements are more rolling around rather than kicking from one end of your stomach to the other. You should still feel baby moving regularly though but always check if you are concerned.
