@Ash Thank you for this!! Yeah just so strange the last 2 weeks my hcg has been going up went up from 21 to 550 over the course of 2 weeks and only dropped this week down to 300! But back at the hospital today for more bloods we will just have to see what happens 😔 Sorry your experiencing this for a second time and I do hope it works out naturally for you x
No problem at all. Have they been able to see your pregnancy on a scan, is that how they know it’s ectopic? They can resolve themselves so they are probably hoping that’ll happen for you! It’s a good sign if your hcg is dropping. When I first had bloods mine had dropped by half at the 48 hour check, so I was told I was having a miscarriage, but then it started creeping back up again 😬 mines never been officially confirmed as ectopic but with the hcg going up and down I’m fairly certain that’s how it’s presenting. Keeping everything crossed for us both!
@Ash Yes I have had 2 scans this week the first they couldn’t see anything and then the one I had yesterday morning they confirmed they could see it! I was certain it was an ectopic before the scan anyway just because of the symptoms I was having and my hcg going up but very slowly was a good indicator! I’m really hoping it does resolve on its own hcg did drop again last night so it’s a good sign! Bless you it’s so hard when they can’t see anything on a scan! Definitely keeping my fingers crossed for you 😘
Hi I’m going through this right now myself. Had what I thought was my period 10th August but continued to bleed heavily. GP suggested I do a test and that’s how I found out I was already pregnant. I’ve been in and out of hospital for bloods since then and my hcg has been going up and down 💀 had another heavy bleed after the first one but hcg still crept up. It’s now started dropping again it’s currently at 66. They were never able to locate mine on a scan since the hcg levels are too low so not entirely sure where it’s located. I had emergency surgery for a suspected ectopic in January, in light of that that’s why they’ve given me so much time to see if it can resolve itself, so that I don’t have to go through that again. I know expectant management is completely appropriate if your hcg levels are going down! So that’s what they’re doing for you currently. It can be a long process but you just have to be super careful to keep an eye on any pain or other worrying symptoms.
