Food aversions

So since the beginning of my pregnancy I cannot stomach cereal of any kind I instantly bring it back up. I've also been similar with anything dairy. My first had a milk allergy, Could it be possible baby 2 also has one and that's why I'm struggling so much with dairy? Never had an issue unless pregnant I'm 24 weeks and still really struggling. I've mentioned it to my midwife and she said "we'll cross that bridge when babys here" Thankyou 🩷

My daughter had a milk allergy and I was fine with it whilst pregnant. I think it’s possibly just some foods you don’t like anymore. I can’t stand mince meat anymore. And the thought of anything cooked with milk or cream 🤢

@Sara I'm absolutely fine with everything but dairy 🤣 i had a hard time getting my girl diagnosed and she suffered for weeks so I don't want this baby to go through same. Isnt it strange how food changes when youre pregnant 🤣 Thankyou for your reply xx

Oh my daughter suffered for ages. She had rashes like burns on her face and no one listened to me. Yeah once pregnant we go crazy in all ways 😂I’ve never ate a packet of ham until I was pregnant. Straight out the pack no break hahahaha

@Sara oh bless! My lil girl used to projectile vomit, she had blood in her poop and it also sprayed out like a water gun 🤢 doctor only did something once they witnessed it first hand and absolutely makes you crazy 🤣

Oh that’s awful. At least you know what to look out for going forward. Did she grow out of it? My daughter did just after she turned one x

@Sara absolutely, and yeah it was around her 1st birthday she grew out of it she's almost 9 now and it hasn't returned thankfully 🩷 xx

Our GP and HV were rubbish help with my daughters allergies. Ended up having to figure it out on my own. She has a dairy allergy (as do i) and a soy allergy - I’m finding now in this pregnancy if i have a soy heavy meal like Asian food i feel super nauseous the next day so have been wondering the same. Everyone tells me I’m overthinking it 🙄

@Cesca it's awful isn't it i just wanna put things in place for when she's born just incase so she doesn't suffer and it can be delt with quickly if it is an allergy. I hate how much women get fobbed off especially while pregnant 🤣 xx
