I had my 1st sweep on Thursday too but cervix wasn’t open, I’ve got my second tomorrow. Fingers crossed for us both! The wait is too long now 😂
My due date was the 22nd, went for a sweep on Wednesday and they couldn’t complete. Was able to have one today but only 1cm dialated! I’m booked in for an induction tomorrow but will be declining for a couple of days. I’m liking the sound of an October baby now x
I was due on the 25th and still nothing. Although I have had pains for quite a while and have been really nauseous today.
My due date was 26th, had a sweep yesterday and cervix was 1cm and midway but still waiting. The wait is long and hard. Lol.
26th due date, had second sweep yesterday. My cervix has been opened since 37w but it’s not progressing quick enough. All these cramps and contractions I’ve been experiencing- def thought I’d be dilated a bit more but nope, 1.5 cm and 75% effaced as of yesterday. Hoping second sweep would do something. Read a study that second sweep after 40w has a success rate of 86% which is so promising! But I think it depends on readiness of the cervix too. Have induction booked for next week. I like the sound of October baby too now haha

my due date was the 23rd September, had my first sweep on Wednesday at 40+2. i was nearly 2cm, cervix was soft, low and stretchy and she could feel baby's head and waters were bulging.. so basically everything was looking great and in the right direction and still nothing..... 😩😂 got another sweep booked in for tomorrow morning so will see if progressing!
Yes I was due yesterday and still waiting (2nd baby), resigned to the fact that I think this will be an October baby instead😂 also hoping for a sweep tomorrow!
Due date 25th. Sweep 24th. Sweep 26th. Balloon induction 27th. Balloon fell out 2am this morning. Delay in breaking waters due to staffing issues. Still waiting :/

My due date was the 18th and definitely getting an October baby vibe! Decided to decline sweeps and induction and just see what happens!
You are not overdue my lovely. Full term is 39-41 weeks. 41+ is late term. 42+ over due Xx

@Jodie same 😅 two sweeps later and still nothing. Induction booked for Monday. Still hoping baby will make appearance by then. What about you?
@Paula I had a sweep yesterday & was half a cm dilated. I lost my mucus plug last night, so I know I must be more dilated now. I have another sweep tomorrow & induction booked for Monday. Hopefully, they won’t need to do anything other than pop my waters if they don’t break by themselves 🤞

They come when they come really. You could be looking at october. I was due the 13th and there was no sign of anything by the 19th
