Anyone given steroid shot for babies lungs?

I did this last week! My baby was a scheduled c section at 37 weeks

@Kendra why 37 weeks??

My baby was too large and my blood pressure started rising. So since I’m Advance maternal age and he was big they didn’t want to end up being going into labor naturally.

@Kendra oh ok. Were you given 2 shots?

I was induced at 37 weeks due to complications and didn't have steroid shots. My doctor said I would only need them if my baby needed to come before 34 weeks.

@Tania yes two , 24 hours apart just to make sure he was good!! I have a 3 day old as of today and he’s good!

@Kendra when was your baby actually born after the shots?

@Tania I had the shots last week on Monday and Tuesday 24 hours apart. And my c section was Friday morning.

@Kendra was it your scheduled csection or it just happened?
