When did you stop swaddling? How did you transition?

My girl is 2 weeks old and i already stopped swaddling because she either broke out of it (I’m not good at the swaddling lol) or when I did it right she would roll on her side and I was scared of her getting stuck and suffocating so now I just lay her on her back and tuck her in with her little blanket but i make sure it’s under her arms so it won’t go over her face

You should stop when baby is showing signs of rolling. Or before if you want to. Sleep sacks work great I find.

Love to dream sleep bags. Expensive but worth it. They do transition bags. I’ve started to use transition bags as my LO is 3 months and starting to push herself on her side so I know she’ll be rolling soon xxx

My baby was 4 weeks old breaking out of his swaddle like we had him in a straight jacket hahahahaa

About 1 month we scrapped wrap style swaddles for grobag style ones as she'd always wiggle her way out (she's low centile so they would never quite wrap properly anyway. Then about 2 months stopped swaddling completely as she'd managed to wiggle an arm out the neck hole of the grobag. I put that arm back in and opened up the arm hole so she could have that one arm out to transition...and she promptly worked on getting the other arm out the neck hole 😂 She started rolling not long after anyway.

I think around 3 months we stopped officially. He was able to turn over and broke out so we figured it was time. He was fine just dropping the swaddle but sometimes we'd wrap his torso and legs and leave his arms out.
