It is possible for it to still move. Mine didn’t and had a c section at 38 weeks because of how much it was obstructing the opening, they couldn’t risk me labouring. But I know plenty of women who have had theirs move. I knew from 20 weeks, in my gut, that it wasn’t going to move and I prepared mentally for a c section the whole time
I'm in the same boat right now. At my anatomy scan they said I had marginal placenta previa where a small thin part of the placenta was covering my cervix. They rescanned at 25 weeks and there wasn't much, if any, change. I just had another rescan at 32 weeks and they said it looks like the placenta has moved off the cervix but it's still too low, less than 1cm from it so I'm going to have another scan at 36 weeks where we'll make the decision on whether I need a C-section or not. I'm hoping for a vaginal delivery as well and there's still time for it to move but I've just been reminding myself that the important part is that both baby and I come out of this healthy and if that means a c section then so be it 🤷
I had that at my 20 week scan, i had a scan to check if it had moved at 32 weeks (instead of 30 like yours) and it had moved! got my fingers crossed for you that it moves by your next scan xxx
@Vanessa yea, I'm trying to think about that way as well. I hope yours moves as well! 🤞
@Hannah it makes me hopeful to hear that! Thank you
I had a low lying one and by 32 weeks it had moved but they told me if it hadn't I'd be checked again at 36 weeks. I still ended up having a c section though 🫠
This happened to me... 5 weeks later, it moved, so don't stress yet
I’ve heard that it’s possible I know some people where it has and some that it hasn’t. Hopefully it will. Good luck
