My doctor is providing me one starting at 16 weeks so I would maybe around that time frame

before 14 weeks baby is very small so the heartbeat is hard to find!

I found a heartbeat with my first pregnancy at 9.5weeks, and this pregnancy I started using the Doppler from week 8, it works great and very accurate! Gives me a peace of mind until the baby starts kicking đŸ„č

@Tanya hello what Doppler do you use

I do mine weekly! Since 10 weeks! You have to check very very low like right above where your hair ends and as it grows it will get higjer and higher. At 15ish weeks it should be halfway between hair line and belly button and 20 weeks at bellybutton!

I found my little girls heartbeat at 11 weeks. It is tricky to find at first but now I know exactly where she’s at. Go lower than you think you would when trying to find. Also you will hear your own heartbeat when trying to find - you’ll know it’s baby when it’s SUPER fast

@Monica I use a Sonoline B Doppler. Never had problems finding a heartbeat. But if you are like 8-9 weeks you have to place that probe really low almost next to your pubic bone and press is harder. And then moving it super slowly in all directions you’ll be able to find a heartbeat, which is usually very fast 140-180bpm. The video I posted is from when I was 8 weeks and 2 days. Hope that helps â˜ș

I'm 10 weeks and 2 days and I'm not able to find it 😔 I hope it's still there

@TK don’t worry too much! I actually was trying to find a heartbeat this whole morning today and no luck. And then before the bedtime I tried again and found it😅 try again, hopefully it’ll work! But if not - doesn’t mean there’s no heartbeat. I just think it’s not easy to use the Doppler when the baby is tiny.

Try super super low! I am finding mine over my old c section scar which is like below the bikini line, super low

@Kelly does your scar hurt how old is it

I was 10w1d when we tried it and after about 10-15 minutes we found the baby. I had to press down somewhat because the baby is still small. It was very reassuring since the US tech didn't let us hear in the office.

My baby is 1 year and two weeks! Scar doesn’t hurt a bit, it’s keloid but that’s genetic so there’s nothing i can do about that. When i have my next baby in April i am going to schedule a repeat c section and see if they can hide the keloid scar
