They say they don’t poo for a few days, my 3 month old boy didn’t poo for two days, so when he was having his bottles he was throwing up quite a bit of the milk he had drunk on each feed from being stuffy, I got told my my sister-in-law told me a trick to help him poo. Sound weird and disgusting but it’s very helpful, lay her down flat on a towel and put a nappy down so all the water soaks up, have a jug of warm water with a cotton pad/ball and just lift her legs up as if your changing her nappy, then just poor the warm water from the cotton on her bumhole constantly and within a few minutes it should come out and she will be so much more relived, it’s a very messy process, I do it when I know he feels awful from not pooping. Hope it works for you if you try it x

I’m also EBFing and I’ve had a couple of days where she doesn’t poo (like you she’s usually a few times a day), but apparently it’s nothing to worry about as they do get to a point where they’ll go less often after the first 6 weeks some can go up to a week without pooping and it’s still considered ok.

I am also ebf and my baby is 3 months and has gone 12 days without passing faeces. It’s nothing to be concerned about as long as all else seems ok. The excessive drooling is separate, that’s also normal. The upset is also difficult as that could be so many things. I was told as long as baby is eating, urinating and not crying out in pain when pressing on the tummy it’s ok 👍🏼

I was given some marvicol the first time she went 3 days without and that helped right away. But today was the first time she is gone in 12 days as stated above and she is otherwise happy and doing what babies do

Ebf can go nearly 2 weeks without a poo. So I wouldn't worry but be prepared for a mega poo at some point likely to leak. Babies do this for varying reasons, teething, growth spurt, leap because they feel like it 🤷‍♀️ as long as they're happy, feeding, and sleeping it's fine. Buy I do advise to do baby massage to help relieve gasses, etc.

Thanks everyone she didn’t poo till today she had a huge explosion in the car seat🤦🏻‍♀️😫😂

My EBF baby quite suddenly stopped pooing several times a day at about 10 weeks and now poos every 3 days ish. She gets so gassy and uncomfortable since this happened though its horrible seeing her in so much discomfort.
