Bath time
My little one has been a water baby ever since being little he has absolutely loved the bath! Just loves water and splashing and playing but for a week now he will not go in the bath! He absolutely screams so I just get him out as I want bath time to be fun not him being traumatised by it!! Anyone have any ideas on why all a sudden he doesn’t like bath time??☹️☹️

This is so crazy! My little girl was like this at the beginning of September, for at least a week! She has always loved the bath and is a total water baby. But, she had just hit 15 months and went through an awful sleep regression, too, when she all of a sudden hated the bath. She now absolutely loves the bath again. We overcame this by me getting in the (empty) bath with her, then filling up the water around us both, loads of toys for distraction and what do you know, she completely forgot about her sudden fear in the space of 5 minutes! Try this approach and see how it goes, but how insane are toddlers?! 😂

My girl is also a water baby but we had this a couple of times when she was overtired after starting childminder so could be related to that. Could just be emotion and that he doesn’t want a bath right then as maybe something else going on his head. Toddlers are wild! I’d maybe try bath a different time to see if make a difference, get in with him if you can, try a shower too instead. Make it with lots of bubble bath. Just to see if any of these help.
