‘Any news??’ Anyone wish they could tell all the nosey Parker’s where to go?!
I’m a week overdue (which isn’t unusual for a first pregnancy), but for the past 3 weeks at least I’ve had messages EVERYDAY asking if I’ve had the baby. They’re not even interested in how I am (not great tbh), it’s just ‘where’s this baby then?’
I never realised it was even a thing to pester a heavily pregnant woman, I can’t get over how obsessed people become with it when they couldn’t even be bothered to send a happy Christmas once a year beforehand!
I just wish I could stick an automatic reply on like with emails ‘yes, I’m still pregnant. no baby is not here. Yes, you will hear about it when the time is appropriate. No, you can’t visit me/me visit you/hold the baby/kiss the baby until I tell you so. LEAVE ME ALONE’
Next time someone asks me if there are any updates I might give them a daily rundown of my mucus consistency lol.

I'm there too. I'm on my second child and really fed up. I'm only 2 days over and for the past week it's been everyday! I'm like I'm in quite a bit of pain, I'm permantly tired and I need to pee every 20 minutes. And no, there are no signs of any baby coming anytime soon.
Right?? There’s no way I’m telling people I have an induction booked because I’m sure they’d be messaging 5 minutes later asking if it’s worked! If one more person tells me to have a curry… 😖🥊

I'm right there with you. My blood pressure has been high and I'm not surprised with all the mithering I'm getting off people. I put a status up last night that essentially says appreciate people are excited but nothing has changed. Im going offline and not responding to people. As soon as he is here we will announce it. Seems to have worked so far not had any today 🤣
