Vaccination doubts

Hi all, I’m currently 14 weeks and I know I should be considering the whooping cough and the flu jab. I personally am against vaccinations and taking medication when not needed. What’s everyone’s views on this ? Is there anyone who hasn’t had any vaccination? Would be great to get different views xx

I would 100% recommend that you do. Whooping cough is going around again and can not only make you feel terrible but can be fatal for baby.

I just saw a girl post on here today saying she got the whooping cough vaccine and should stopped feeling her baby move the day after. Previously she would wake up to the baby moving every morning and through out the day. She did say she felt the baby move slightly but she’s going to the hospital to make sure everything is okay. Personally I am against getting vaccines while I’m pregnant too. If my baby is making good progress and is happy and healthy I am not risking anything to deter that. My advise is look on X (twitter) they have the most authentic stories about vaccines and child birth both good and bad.

I would get whooping cough especially as cases are so high atm and I would read journal and studies for information rather than twitter

You know your body babe x and if everything is well and healthy and you are against vaccines don’t let anyone push you into it xx

I didn't take them. I haven't even had a cold since I concieved. LO is 8 months old, didn't get any vaccination and haven't been sick so far

I would personally as it can be fatal for the baby. My son was in hospital at 10weeks with RSV and it was the worst time of my life, he was so poorly. If there was a vaccination then for protection against it, I would’ve taken it. If there is this time, I’ll take it.
