Shoes

My 21 month son has always been in Clarks shoes since he started walking because I’m very pro foot health and want to remain this way but they are so expensive. I have just ordered a pair from Vinted but was wondering what does everyone else do? Are places like next etc good for foot health?

My LB has never yet had new shoes - I am a serial vinted buyer lol! I've found branded shoes like Nike to be quite tight around the foot but places like next and George tend to be wider.

Same as above! Everything from vinted, they get used for such a little amount of time there's soooo Many available second hand!

I dont want to be the party killer but second hand shoes for kids are really not recommended (unless they are seeling but the shoes havent been used of course). A child this age should wear a shoe that is not already shaped on another feet if it makses sense. All in for pre loved clothes and toys and all others. Just the shoes. We have ordered last from Saguaro for nursery, but they are a bit big for now but seem soooo comfy!!

@Lucy completely agree! I would rather pay the extra & know the shoes are fitted perfectly for my little boy and then buy something else second hand to warrant the extra money on shoes !

@Katie indeed. I dont want to be disrespectful towards anyone's financial situation, and if they can not afford new ones, I totally get it, but when this is possible, it is strongly recommended to have new ones. The posture is sososo important!

Before I forget, there is an online Clarks outlet with very good discounts

@Lucy gosh I didn’t even think of that. Thanks for letting me know.

Clarks shoes are actually not great for foot health after the pre walkers! They have stuff soles and tapered toes. We pay through the nose for them and they are not much better than other more affordable brands.

@Andrea which brands are better/more affordable? I can’t see the video that well
