Silent reflux symptoms

I’m just wondering if any mums can tell me what symptoms their LO has if they have silent reflux? My LG is exclusively breastfed and has always had quite aggressive hiccups from birth, congestion that doesn’t seem to go away, only likes to be held vertical and spit ups (not every feed only sometimes). She doesn’t cry or anything after feeds. Unsure if it’s worth now she’s 11 weeks to see if she should be on medication as I don’t want it to be affecting her internally? Any advice would be appreciated :)

Both mine have had silent reflux. being super fussy on feeds, doing the clicking sound after milk and gasping. Not much sick but that’s the difference between regular reflux & silent. Silent means they still gain weight & aren’t as sicky x

@Karmel thank you for replying- are they on medication or anything? Can I ask what the clicking sound is you mean? My lg sounds like she needs to do a good cough after feeds sometimes.

@Lucy it’s hard to explain, but like if you were to put your tongue on the roof of your mouth then suck or click it, sounds like that. Does your little girl sound mucus-y? Some milk allergies can cause reflux symptoms too. Neither have had medication & both of their reflux symptoms subsided within 4 weeks I’d say x

My baby is similar. She won’t lay on her back for very long either. Currently cutting out cows milk as her nappies have been quite bad. We even had constant hiccups in the womb. I went to a GP but they just suggested cutting out cows milk and didn’t really take much on board about reflux. Hope you get somewhere!
