Nursery fees (15 hours free)

Hi. Just looking for a bit of advice with regards to the 15 hours free funding for nursery. My daughter goes to nursery 1 day a week (10.5 hours) but I’m still getting charged £23.76 each day she is in. They’ve said it’s because they’ve stretched the funding from term time only to 50 weeks of the year and that they have wrap around fees for meals and staffing. One of my friends has a baby in a different nursery and doesn’t have to pay anything. Would love to hear others experiences as may consider changing nurseries. Thanks xx
