@Bella thanks for the good advice!
Bath time we alternate - sometimes it's a shower with a parent for a quicker clean (gotta have a strong grip, she gets so slippery!), or sitting in the big tub with water up to her belly button and toys to keep occupied. Splashing and movement encouraged to build water awareness. Couple slips and face-in-water when reaching for a toy, but she's learning boundaries and always comes up fine. Brushing teeth I sit her on the lip of the sink, feet in, holding her. I move her feet out of the way to spit. But agree, this is also getting tricky as she grows and doesn't always want to sit still. Might be moving to the floor soon.
Mine now takes bathes with his older brother in the big tub. I just make sure there isn’t more than a couple inches of water.
I put my son in a laundry basket in the tub… (it’s sideways against the tub walls so it doesn’t tip over)
@Samantha she doesn’t fall and hurt herself on the sides of the tub?
I just get in with him and sit there because someone like to swoop right under the water, regularly and we have the sliding glass shower doors. He sits freely and has toys to play with. As for brushing teeth I go into the living room in front of the lamp so I can see and we both sit on the floor, scrub scrub scrub, and then I leave him and go wash it off and put it away. Good luck mama! You’re doing great
