same over here in ga. it’s nice to hear him, and it’s more for if you have any questions. i recommend taking little notes throughout the month if you feel like you need to talk about more stuff
It will only be longer if you express concerns, have questions or vitals seem off. They are seeing you more frequently now for more so prevention of labor prior to term
my appointments seemed kinda … idk..rushed. My doctor will basically just check on my baby’s heartbeat and tell me it’s normal then leave.
Do they ask if you have any questions? If you have a healthy pregnancy this is a pretty normal thing for appointments!
Yeah I think it’ll only be longer if you ask questions. I make sure to go with a list of some or any concerns I have
Girl my doctor didn’t even show up to my birth. Told the whole labor department I was gonna be a while and then got pulled over on the way there after the fourth time the labor department called him. So some obs really suck
That's pretty routine unless the doctors have a concern, you have a concern to ask or they need a test from you. This is my 2nd time around. It was the same here until last time 37 weeks I suddenly had high blood pressure on a Friday appointment and the Monday appointment at 38 weeks with specialist he ordered immediate induction. So I'd consider an uneventful appointment a good thing, personally. More eventful appointments will happen if it's needed
Thanks everyone! Feeling much better! Just didn’t know what to expect!
32 weeks and felt like all my appointments have been useless, check blood pressure, and heart rate with a Doppler and im sent on my way. I once sat there 2 hours past my appt time to only be in there for 15 mins. My last appt I went in with questions. My next appt (36wks) I'll go in with more questions and discuss my birth plan
