Mines measuring around that much over and they are concerned enough for me to have a growth scan

@Alice you waiting for them to call you for emergency scan?

I’ve had a few growth scans with my baby girl as she’s measuring over 97% centile. We are currently 33 weeks and my bump is measuring 38w and baby girl is measuring 37w. I wouldn’t over worry about it as it can be massively inaccurate and you could also carry a little more fluid making bump bigger! Hope everything goes well at your scan x

Did they measure you with a tape measure? I had the same and when I got to the hospital the consultant laughed and said I hate midwife’s who use this method it’s so inaccurate.. soo yep!

I’m exactly the same. 32 weeks measuring 34. My midwife isn’t concerned because the growth has been consistent (even if a bit ahead)

@Becky mines gone above average 😖

@Elena hopefully this is what my situation is 🙈

@Georgie we willl soon find out, I’m due to have a emergency growth scan but still haven’t heard off them it’s been 24 hours , midwife said if you don’t hear by Wednesday morning phone midwife and she will get on to them

I’m the same but midwife said there was a lot of fluid. Told me not to worry until 34/36 weeks and then they may offer a scan is over 90th percentile

i was measuring 37 at 33 weeks so went for a growth scan. turns out i have excess fluid known as Polyhydramnios which was caused by my now diagnosed gestational diabetes 🙃 but it’s nice to see baby on a scan every 2 weeks and i’ll probably just meet her a bit earlier xx

@Kate I’m just hoping it’s all fluid for me and he’s a big baby because I wouldn’t be very good with insulin-.- xx

@Lauren-Marie mines a big girl too. she was weighing 6lbs at 33 weeks. Got another scan tomorrow at 35 weeks. Diabetes isn’t too bad tbf i’ve just changed what i’m eating and test my sugars 4x a day and they’ve all been fine. not needed any insulin or anything xx

@Kate how do you test your sugars? Without insulin chick ? Because I’m so anxious x

@Lauren-Marie just a little finger prick and then drop the blood into a monitor which tells you your levels x

@Kate I feel queasy just thinking about it 🙈
