Consultant

I found it pretty pointless to be honest they just repeated everything the midwives had told me following the scan. They check through everything. We'd been there over 3 hours by that point and it was our 12 week scan so we just wanted to go by that point we'd been there for ages x

@Gemz awhh really? See I had my 12 week scan last Thursday and then an appointment tomorrow with consultant. I just don't get why it's another week later x

Yeah that is strange to be fair, but the amount of time we had to wait in-between the scan technician, the midwife and then finally the consultant. Maybe it's because of the waiting times. At least by then they will have your recent results from that appointment, the consultant had to go through blood tests that got took weeks ago which seemed pointless cause the bloods hadn't come through yet x

@Gemz I get what you mean so did you have your midwife appointment at the same time or was your midwife there for the scan as well? X

It was a scan with the tech, then we had to wait half an hour for the next bit which was the midwife and then after that back in the waiting room until the consultant was free x

Absolutely nothing, he legit asked why I was there🤣😫

@Gemz so lucky, I think because I have underactive thyroid I had to get my bloods done again x

@Eve oh really shocking. That's like when you go to the doctors and they ask why your there and you've already told reception 🙄 hopefully you got sorted x
