Baby lead levels high

Hi all, We recently did the blood test for my one year old girl. Her lead levels are at 15.5 The doctor says it’s not good and I’m dead worried. Doctor has recommended her iron drops since her iron levels were low too. We are originally from India and living in the USA for the last 6 years. We live in a pretty new apartment, I don’t think there is any lead exposure here, also she doesn’t play with any paintings or any such weird stuffs that can affect her that way. Please suggest what to do and share your experiences or advice. Thank you.

I'm so sorry that's really scary! I would get your water tested, we had lead pipelines that were only recently replaced by our city. Also check your packaged food. There was lead found in cinnamon apple sauce (in the cinnamon) and some other spices

Would you be able to share your LOs diet? There is a lot of info on TikTok about detoxing babies from high amounts of lead. Normally it is from our food and water

Lots of shelf baby foods have lead in it. I know someone whose kids lead was 50+ and she realized it was all the baby food she had fed her baby. Stopped and eventually it went down.

I second what everyone else has said!! especially the baby food pouches.
