Enlarged heart?

Hi! My baby had an x-ray, and the final results came in. The pedia told me that the results shown were baby's heart is enlarged but pedia wasn't that worried as he said baby just turned 15mos and that the rad-techs who did my baby might have mistakenly shot at wrong timing as baby was crying uncontrollably when she was in the thingy. Baby doesn't have any symptoms of enlarged heart as per doctor, and as from we observe at home. Did this ever happen to any of you? That the x-ray results misdiagnosed?

I'm a radiographer in the UK. Did the baby have their back against the X-ray machine? If so it's normal for heart to be enlarged on the image, it's due to the magnification factor

Oh yeah. Normal then. Its because the heart is in the front of the baby's body which is furthest away from the X-ray machine so it's more magnified. I can't believe rad tech still use those in Canada đź«  in the UK we don't use them at all.

I was told my son had an enlarged heart due to x-rays also ,got sent to a heart specialist & it's the muscle in front of his heart is larger then his age which caused them to think it was an enlarged heart
