I was able to they just printed it off for me without me asking.

They weren’t able to get a good enough picture as little girl wasn’t playing ball so missed out which I was gutted about. Fingers crossed for you x

I wasn’t able to get pictures she’s been a little miss trouble maker doesn’t like pictures

I've had pics every growth scan. If it's clear enough they hopefully will give you one.

I've had 3 growth scans and haven't got pictures at any of them

Depends on your local hospital policy

Sorry, that jumping on this thread. I’ve got to go for my first growth scan. I’m 34 weeks and they say baby girl is measuring too small. What do the growth scans entail please? I’m not worried at all, just curious, am I also right in thinking that they induce you too if baby isn’t growing enough? Again, not worried, just curious and have questions. So any help and advice would be appreciated 🥰

@Amber they just measure head circumference, how long the leg bone is and measure belly circumference. Xx

@Amber I have had one every month since my 12 week scan. If ur worried just give me a message xx

@Kirstie will they give a more accurate measure of her predicted birth weight too then? X

@Amber yes. My little man put on 1lb 6ozs in 4 weeks!!. Obviously it's only a rough cuz u never know how much they r gunna weigh until they get here.. my daughter was weighing at 4lb so I got induced and she was born 5lb2.. (13 years ago I might add)...

There is a slight margin of error with the growth scans they predicted my first would be an 8lb baby and he come out 6lb 7oz lol

@Amber I wouldn’t worry, I was told my little boy was measuring on the 1st percentile then I went for a growth scan and he was on the 99th percentile x

Thank you ladies. I was also told my the person booking my scan that it needed to be within 48 hours? For context I am an out of area lady and so I need to different hospitals for my appointments. My midwife said I would have the scan within a few weeks and then the place where I need to go for the scan who booked it with me said it needs to be done within 48 hours. Any idea why this is, or is it just different hospitals doing things slightly differently?
