My daughter is in nursery twice a week and I’m expecting our son in February - I will be keeping my daughter in nursery whilst I’m in Mat leave with my son x
Same as above; have kept in nursery. As they are settled and I didn’t want to change the routine but also because i would find it really hard juggling a newborn and my toddler.
Our little one is staying there. We'll likely do the extra day we want for him too if we can get it in that time. His routine is so important at this age and he loves it and learns loads. Plus it will give him some space and time for himself and me some time with the baby. I already know that trying to juggle a 4 year old and a newborn is going to be tricky so we'll both benefit from it. Plus, he'd only have to go back in after I go back to work so it makes no sense to take him out and lose his space. And it's either lose his space or still pay when he's not there!
I chose to leave him in nursery- he was settled into his routine, liked going and it gave me some 1:1 time with the baby. I might have felt differently if he didn’t enjoy going.
