I did try to submit and put in my return to work date but it said I couldn’t finish my application yet as was still on parental leave.
I'm in the same boat. We don't get funded hours until January. I don't go back to work until mid October
Ours was supposed to start next Jan but the nursery started them as soon as she turned 9 months
You had to return to work by the 30th September to get the funded hours for September to December which will be why you won’t get them until January. I had to pull my return date back and use annual leave until I actually wanted to go back just to make it work!
Mines the same. I don’t go back to work until mid October so we don’t qualify for funding until January. You had to return to work by 30th sep to qualify for funding for this term x
It will start in January. You have missed it for September now and even then you need to make sure you complete the application before the cutoff for Jan Which you can find on the gov website
@Gemma that’s really strange as I filled mine in, in august and put what date I was starting my new job and it was accepted
My code has just randomly come through. Sent it to the nursery this morning so hoping that’s it sorted for October. Feel so panicked and clueless
You have missed the cut off for this term. That was 31st August. You submit your return date/starting date and then you get sent a code to give to the childcare provider and they send this off on their end to take away hours from your invoice etc. you need to apply by mid December to get a code for January. It explains it all on the government website and takes like 10minutes to apply
