Awww happy for you. I went private too and saw the heartbeat too, so special to see. Although mine was measuring a whole week smaller than my predicted gestational weeks (6 weeks 3 days, instead of 7 weeks 2 days). Going to do an NPT privately at 10 weeks too, so hopefully all good then. So hard not to worry xx

I meant 2 weeks so I will be 8 x
I’ll be 7 plus 2 on Tuesday for my first scan can they tell by a certain number of how big the baby is then and how many days it should measure I’m thinking as I feel so big and boobs sore feel sick that I’m further now x
@Ema yes it was. They’re great at making the whole experience comfortable for you
@kelly they measure the baby from head to bottom and that measurement gives an insight to how far along you may be. I was 7+2 when I went and they said baby is measuring at 7+6 so not much of a difference. You can then give the report they give you to your midwife when you have your first appointment with her so she can note it down on your records x
We have ours booked in for next week which will be 8+3 for me so its nice to see it will probably look something like this hopefully! Thanks for sharing ☺️
