Rant!!

The nhs are an absolute joke I said I don’t want to know the gender saw what he is he’s a boy and then purposely said he’s got a penis when I clearly stated we don’t want to know the gender about 3 times during the whole app why did they do this?? How the fuck are they supposed to say the gender when we didn’t want to know I’m so angry at them as we didn’t want to know what he was I’m so upset it’s beyond me 😡

Imagine we paid for our gender scan and the woman forgot part of the gender sticker on the cannon that we paid a fortune for! Ruined it for my husband!

I understand your frustration but I would also just embrace that it’s wonderful news at the same time. Health professionals are there first and foremost to care for the health and wellbeing of mum and baby, if they’re doing this then they’re doing a pretty great job. Sorry that you had a disappointing experience but hopefully once you’ve digested the news you can just enjoy it as another exciting part of the journey to parenthood!

Just so you feel a bit validated - I would be furious. This is my second baby and we found out the gender for #1 but as this is our last baby I want to have the surprise so I am going to HAMMER it into my sonographer on Thursday to keep their mouth shut. Only speak if there’s a problem lol as I don’t want them to slip up! It’s ok to be angry - and of course the main thing is you have a healthy baby boy. But also just imagine punching the sonographer a few times to get out the rage 😜

I could tell from the screen mine was a girl before they even told me, not much they could do about it. If you’re looking at the screen then you’re bound to be able to tell. Silly she brought it up tho!
