Homeschooling?

Anyone homeschool? My oldest isn’t old enough for pre-k yet but I’ve been looking into homeschooling. I know it differs state to state. Anyone have any tips? How did you know this was what you wanted to do? Are you doing it k-12? Was your partner okay with it? If not how did you persuade them into homeschooling your children? Just a young mom trying to keep my children safe, happy, and educated!

@shyanne hopefully we do! I’m excited about the possibility of me doing this for my children.

i’m thinking of going the pa cyber route.. that way if she wants to do school sports she can to get more social interaction. doing it mostly for the first reason you said, to keep her safe! my bf hated the idea at first, said she’d be a weirdo but warmed up to it when i mentioned our local school is talking about putting litter boxes in the school bathrooms 🙄 also along with sports there’s liberty and community programs for her to get interaction as well.. i hope we both get to do it! ♥️

@Gabi I personally don’t want my children in cyber, I was cyber schooled for seven years and it was extremely lonely. There also wasn’t any sports available, and only a few activities close enough for us to go to maybe three times a year. Again this is my personal experience and I know my children wouldn’t have the same experience but it gave me a bad experience so I’m trying to stay away from it.
