Advice needed
Hi so I’m currently 5w and 3 days along in my pregnancy after having a mmc on the 15th of July, I should have been 10 weeks I started bleeding and when I went for my scan I was told the baby had no heart beat and was measuring 8 weeks, now what I need advice on is I want to book a scan at 8weeks but I’m unsure if I should wait until my 12 week because I know if something is to happen again I can’t stop it and I’m just worried that it’s going to happen at 8 weeks again so should I get that early scan to stop myself worrying about the outcome or should I just wait it out, I am greatly appreciative of any advice I can get here and I’m sorry if I rambled on a bit

@Aleah I’m in the uk so I’m not sure if they would I might call my epu on Monday and see what they would recommend! Hope everything worked out okay for you. That’s my worry that I’d go 12 week scan and they would give me that news!
The worst they can say is no then! I know it really helped my anxiety to be able to get the blood draws.

Hi! Did they have you wait until 12 weeks to be seen at all?? This happened to me my first pregnancy, and at my 12 week scan I found out I had a missed miscarriage and baby didn’t make it past 7 weeks!!!!! The next time I got pregnant, I pretty much said I need a vaginal ultrasound at 6 weeks. And then I got my hcg blood draw done weekly. To make sure it was increasing. I would recommend doing this… remember your doctor works FOR you, you can tell them what you want, and if they refuse find a new provider.
