Hello! I just had my 9 week ultrasound and I have a 4x3 cm fibroid on top of my uterus. It's been there but has grown a bit with all the estrogen now. It should get smaller after birth. I have not had a successful pregnancy yet, but the docs say it's nothing to worry about because of where it's at. I also hope they are right but I believe them for now.

I had one just over 5cm with my first and I had growth scans but everything was fine and it wasn’t anywhere near baby ☺️ that same one is now 3cm so they don’t consider it big enough to require growth scans this time around

I have a 6 cm one so they said I need to keep having ultrasounds to check on it. I’m waiting for there results of my last check up since I’m 33 weeks i am a little nervous as to what they will say but the tech didn’t show any concern. The fibroid is close to the baby’s chin too 🥺.

Hi, anything under 5cm is not something they usually have any concerns about unless it’s blocking your cervix etc. I had a 10 cm one which grew to 20cm by birth (size of 20 week baby) and I just had to have a c section kept a close eye on me

@Claire I have a 10cm one now! Was c section smooth? Worried about excessive hemorrhaging

@Avani yeah no problems I lost more blood than normal but they had blood ready and did cell salvage. No issues just a lot more bleeding afterward as your uterus can’t contract as much. The section was lovely great experience
