Referral to Fetal medicine unit

Hey, please try not to google/ worry before your apt! My now 2 year old was measuring small my entire pregnancy and she came out perfectly healthy at 41w +4 days!

Thanks kristina did they send you to the Fetal med unit for a check there?

Never google, it’s not good for your mental health. It’s best to have a list of questions written down to ask them when you are there.

Not sure why this post came up on my feed as I’m def not in the December 2024 babies group ;) But I can help as I had this as well and frequent monitoring etc for my pregnancy for my baby who is now 9 months old. I was worried too but all was fine. Baby was completely healthy (but yes slightly small at 5lbs 7). Sometimes they are wrong though and baby isn’t small. It is good to be checked regardless and the extra scans were an opportunity to get more glimpse of little one x

My little ones on the 7th centile... been referred for more scans but that's all so far... been told I could potentially be induced from 37 weeks unless there appears to be a drop or a significant issue then could potentially be sooner x

try to not worry!! i know it’s easier said than done but i was told my lil girl was below the 10th percentile at my bump measure. went for a growth scan and she’s actually a bit on the chubbier side !!!

Thanks all for your kind words. We had putt apt yesterday and baby is small but nothing for us to worry about at this point! We did find out we are having a boy after being told a girl earlier on! Shock of the apt 💙

@Rebecca can i ask when did u get told u we’re having a girl vs boy, i got told at my 20 week and 24 week scan that im having a girl and im sooo worried about it changing. i’ve bought almost everything around a girl.. im going for a 4d scan soon and they’re gonna check gender again for me but im scared of it changing 🤣
