Ovarian cyst

I had cyst with my last pregnancy, it did go by next time I had a scan

I also had one found yesterday too at an early reassurance scan… I think we just need to get them remeasured whenever we next get scanned but as Katie has said they can just go too!

I had a 6cm cyst that was seen at my early scan at 6weeks, it had reduced by the next scan at 10w and then I think had gone by 12w

My first pregnancy my cyst grew throughout 🤣 I ended up having an emergency cesarean for other reasons and they removed it 😊 it didn't cause me or my daughter any harm throughout. We had a few extra scans to check the cyst but it never caused any bother

They found extremely large bilateral cysts on both my ovaries at an early reassurance scan. They were like 18 & 14cm each respectively? I never had any symptoms so it was a big surprise. They did blood tests & an MDT met to discuss (who agreed they were simple cysts). They also wanted to rescan me to check they weren’t getting bigger. Like you, I was terrified after going on Dr Google, especially because mine were massive. I had a rescan when I was in my 2nd trimester & they’d shrunk to under 9cm each! Doctors think basically my ovaries got hyperstimulated when I got pregnant & then just calmed down lol. Never caused me or baby any issues! They want to rescan me after birth to see if they’ve shrunk even more or if I want to have them removed, but doctors are super happy & not worried. Yours are tiny & it is SO common to get cysts or discover cysts during pregnancy as it’s the only time women ever get pelvic scans. Often they shrink or disappear by the next scan :) don’t panic!
