October DD might be September 👀

Hey ladies! So today I had my 36 Week ultrasound and Group B Test done. While my physician was down there I let him know that I wanted to get my cervix checked. He did let me know that I was dilated 3cm and instead of baby coming October 17th he might be coming sometime in the next week or so🥹👍🏻 Ultrasound came out normal. Baby so far is weighing in at 5LB 15oz closer to 6 LBs. also I did notice baby was super low in the pelvis area, that is another reason I asked for him to check. Doctor said everything looked normal from the ultrasound.

Happy for you! Did he say baby might come just based on dilation or other factors? Just curious because dilation isn't necessarily an indicator of when labor will start, but some providers like to get our hopes up lol.

@Makelle yeah I've been 3cm dialated and about 80% effaced since 36 week, was at station 1 (low) and baby is still in there lol They did tell me it's possible for baby to come early given my history but that it also doesn't mean anything

You know it took me so long to translate DD in my brain while reading just the title 🤣 all will go well and i will note this as i have my growth ultrasound next week followed by an appointment with my regular ob

@Makelle uhm that is a good question that I did not ask lmao! But he made it seem like I could go into labor soon, just because I did let him know I’ve had a few contractions here and there. He did let me know if the contractions become 5minutes apart within 1 hour, then I should get admitted to L&D.
