Anatomy scan

Had my first ultrasound at what kind of thought was 19w5d but turns out I am actually 20w4d. That changes my due date a whole week! He is healthy and active but I don’t feel him. Is it normal to not feel them even tho they are healthy?

If you feel decreased moved from your norm always tell your ob. You should feel him daily but I believe you don't start counting kicks till 30 weeks.

Do you know your placenta position? If you have an anterior placenta, you likely won’t feel strong movements until 24-26 weeks.

Congrats! Same thing happened to me 😆 I have an anterior placenta and didn't feel my baby until 22-23 weeks. I'm now 32 weeks and she doesn't have a 'routine' as I can't feel her all the time. If you've not felt your baby move after 24 weeks, consult your midwife. If you're concerned before that, speak to them also x

I didn’t feel massive kicks or movements at this point, more so just “fluttering” and what I can only describe as like a goldfish swimming in my stomach. If it’s your first pregnancy it’s normal not to feel really distinct movements yet, my midwife said they aren’t concerned and you’ll feel somethings by 24 weeks xx
