Baby’s weight

I am currently 33 weeks pregnant but my baby has been measuring 5cm higher than the normal measurement since 28 weeks. I got sent for a growth scan and the sonographer said there were no issues. I am seeing people talking about the weight of their babies and I’m wondering cause the midwife has never told me anything about baby’s weight. Is this done during the midwife appointment or how is it obtained?

It should be in your notes and plotted on your growth chart. If in doubt, check at your next appointment ❤️

The estimated weight is only done from a scan, not from a midwife appointment. The bump measurement is a really outdated method and not reliable at all really.

Check your notes when you get a scan - you’ll have an estimated fetal weight on them x

It's on the growth chart and only weight is charted from growth scans but they are an estimate.
