Can I have a reassurance scan through the NHS?

I have previously had a MC where my bleeding began after a private transvaginal scan (more than likely just a huge coincidence) I am now 6+6 and have a private scan booked for the day I will be exactly 8 weeks, however I feel so anxious that’s it’s not with medical professionals/ the NHS and that what happened last time will happen again (even though I’ve booked through a different clinic). Does anyone know if I can call the EPU and ask for a reassurance scan through the NHS and if yes would I get prints of my scan?

At my nhs trust you need to get referred from your doctor, so speak to doctors first maybe? X

Someone on here mentioned recently that her hospital offered private scans on certain days. Might be worth checking if your hospital does these! If mine did, I'd definitely rather paid someone I was sure of! X

Thank you I’ll give them a call and see what my options are! I do think it was just a coincidence before as I felt something was off before hand which is why I had the scan in the first place and then I asked if the internal scan was safe and they said they wouldn’t do them if it wasn’t x

I had one at 6 weeks to rule out ectopic pregnancy luckily everything ok but not allowed a photo

A hospital near me has a walk in EPU unit, no referral needed and they offer reassurance scans if had previous miscarriage/ectopic. I don't think they all offer this though
